Yeah I'm not so much for John Arch's vocals but it's a cool record. Very dense. It sounds like the cover looks. I really like Perfect Symmetry too. All that stuff was real influential for young me. I have a couple of their newer records and I can't say I put them on very often, but they're solid.

I replaced the stock bridge on my Jaguar with a Mastery and while it was a vast improvement (stock bridge wouldn't even intonate on the low E), I didn't love the tone of it, in particular it made the G string sound kinda plonky. I swapped out the Mastery for a Staytrem and that was much much better....

Ha, I'm so used to how it is now I totally forgot I did that.

The original tempo was too slow to get a good challenging downstroke riff going, and too fast for a nice halftime groove, so this is where it ended up.
