I was actively resisting the urge to hit drums while the sound person was mic'ing my kit last night. In fact, I made it a goal after I checked everything before doors not to hit a single drum until the first song.Mickey242 wrote: Fri Mar 03, 2023 10:12 pm Why do drummers feel they should jam out while i'm setting up mics on their kit?

Yes it is a complaint.
This guy is a friend of mine and will be pretty blunt if it's fixable or not: https://milwaukeelutherie.com . I usually just message him through IG. If it can be fixed he's very good.ErikG wrote: Sat Mar 04, 2023 7:02 pm Luthier type people: I have a Squier Musicmaster bass (mid 90's one w/ matching headstock.) Neck has a significant ski jump on the E-string side. Not my main player and not vintage $$$$ but a cool little bass.
