Never listened to this band. That album is hard as fuck!

I would have been all over this at the time and not sure how I missed them since I followed the Sonic Unyon roster in the 90s. Not crap.

Planned to drop duckets on the record for an early birthday present but a more diligent well-heeled listener beat me to it.

Can't scrub "The Waterskiiers" from my mind.

Glad to see their name pop up, kind of forgot about these guys. Bazooka and the Hustler is brilliant... I've been meaning to check out their other albums for years, I'll have to do so this week.

I wouldn't call them an all time great but way more hits than misses.

My favorite tune of theirs:

I remember when Much Music played Kittens' tunes like "Carpenter", "Great Dane", "Jack Knife", etc. with some semi-regularity on the Wedge. KInd of amazing in retrospect considering how abrasive they were compared to everything else being shown there. One of the great things about CanCon rules in the pre- or early online era was that interesting bands got some decent airplay.

Great band and, kind of like Hammerhead, Vaz or Nirvana even, a clearly Melvins influenced band that I've listened to much more than the Melvins...

I *might* remember seeing them during my early gig going days along with KEN mode (before I was a proper fan) and the like at the time. They definitely had a sound.

Listened to the split with Shallow North Dakota the most by far. Still got it on the shelf!

I saw Shallow North D several times over the years...always were the bomb live...saw them clear out a room full of hardcore kids in 97 or 98 in Victoria with their sheer volume.
