The other (original) Bauhaus: Which design leader was the best/most influential?

I think Mies’ influence was most lasting, particularly through his Chicago connection and influence in educating a generation of Chicago architects that have thus spawned dozens of firms and educated thousands of others. His principles were solid, and attention to the details something too often absent amongst his imitators.
