I used to really hate the guy years ago, but I've eased up a bit. I still find him insufferable at times, but some of the stuff he's done on The Tonight Show is great, like Egg Russian Roulette, or Kate Upton kicking his ass in Flip Cup. But I think that's more to the show's credit.

I think he apologized later for having Trump on.
"Whatever happened to that album?"
"I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall and it like, shattered."

Yep. He's willing to hack it up for the Tonight Show's middle/right-leaning boomer audience (unlike Conan O'brien, who wasn't political, but unwilling to dumb it down). Just look how uncomfortable he gets when John Oliver makes not-exactly-new observations about Amazon's treatment of workers.
