4Nesmith's mom invented White-Out. Haven't had time to read any of the obits yet, so I don't know if they've mentioned this, but I learned this via one of those factoid pages a while back and was like, "Hey now, that's crafty!"
The Monkees are Not Crap, bit like a proto-boy band if boy bands could play their instruments, had some decent songs, and aspired to more than "ewww, girl. ewww!" type mugging. Am not intimately familiar with the band's backcatalog atm but they get a pass, yeah.

6*Googles this* You're right! Shoulda properly looked that up before posting here. Also just learned it's "Wite Out" and not "White Out." Someone else explained the differences between Liquid Paper and Wite Out, but I was/am too groggy to have absorbed much of it. Carry on...
