Pretty good showdown actually....I dunno the right answer. On one hand Roy's material in terms of lyrics is more timeless, as it is less saddled with the perspective of a teenager, but then the Everly's did Songs Our Daddy Taught Us, which reconciled all that. Love the Everly rhythm guitar sound, and they kind of predicted the whole British Invasion sound. Roy's singing is incomparable.

So really it comes down to whether you prefer selling yourself to Danzig over selling your daughter to Axl Rose.

Yep. At one time, 'Crying' was one of my favorite songs. He gets my vote.

The only Everlys song I really liked that got played on oldies radio was 'Wake Up Little Susie'. I guess 'Bye Bye Love' was OK too.
"Whatever happened to that album?"
"I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall and it like, shattered."
