Love 'em.
Perfectly distilled bubble gum pop music. Vocals can be tough to accept, but once they are...good times. Under-rated IMHO.
Example of their pop perfection.
Also an example of a band that does good covers.
Re: Band: Chromatics
2Definitely a band that went pop and arguably got better when they did so.

4I've been meaning to have a substantial sit-down with this band for a while now.
Liked the first Glass Candy record quite a bit.

Justice for Dexter Wade and Nakari Campbell

7I like Glass Candy fine, but prefer Chromatics. Guess they officially broke up last year though...rsmurphy wrote: Thu Jan 20, 2022 3:56 pm I've been meaning to have a substantial sit-down with this band for a while now.

9I like more than 50% of their songs so I went with not crap.
I have a visceral, unpleasant, feeling about Johnny Jewel though--something about him really bothers me. At first I thought it might be the absolutely ludicrous tattoos under his eyes, but it's more than that, I just can't articulate what it is.
