+1

I usually find it annoying. Just make a choice.

Exception:

Responder, either intentionally or unintentionally, answers question with a “yes” instead of making a choice.

Example:

“Would you like soup or salad?”

“Yes.”

Blur or Oasis?

Me: Pulp

Valid opening up of a Q into broader territory, or spineless copout?
I picked "not crap" because a snarky third answer can inadvertently lead to someone discovering/trying something new--maybe there's someone out there who has heard Blur and Oasis, but not Pulp and checks them out because of the snarky response--I think that is always a good thing.

Honestly refusing to accept a binary because the framing underlying it is questionable, and having a good faith discussion as to why = never crap.
