Man Is The Bastard/all things related

I was naive about a lot of their output until recently. I have been listening to Emperor of the North, Geronimo, Amps For Christ, etc. Holy shit was I missing out. I wish I had been lucky enough to see any of them live. If anyone has any experience using any of the gear WT Nelson is making and selling, please share your thoughts and opinions.

I really like the MitB aesthetic and the idea of mixing power violence with power electronics, but the end result always sounded clumsy to me. The music kinda pales in comparison to say, Dystopia or Despise Me or (on the other side of the coin) Ramleh or Hijokaidan.

Never delved into the side projects as a result but it looks like Amps for Christ's Circuits may be on the investigation list. Up for recommendations if more informed posters have them...

Crap w.f 7 for sincere freak factor.

Not crap, but in small doses. Despite their experimentation and thinking outside of the HC/powerviolence box, their music works best as short blasts of tunes on their many splits, 7inches or compilation tracks, as per traditional HC format.

Bastard Noise I respect but never could get into fully.

I dug the Umbra Vita stuff with Kenyon I heard.
