They were good live, but not so super mindblowing that i'd try to get others to listen. And they seemed consistent from night to night too. My buddies in Red Red Meat toured with them and I saw maybe 4 or 5 shows in the space of a week when I went along on the road with them all. Really nice people at first blush, though I didn't really get to know any of them that well. That was back in...oh maybe '95 or '96...

Kind of disturbed that there are posts that AREN'T anything but adulation and high praise.

OK, the "Feller filler" tracks certainly live up to their namesake most of the time, but the proper tunes are delightfully pure Americana through a 90's art/noise/experimental rock lens. If you're curious to jump into this band, the 'Admonishing the Bishops' EP is a great place to start.

The not crappiest of the not crap!!! Long live the Fellers!!!

In my all time top five bands. Admonishing the Bishops is indeed a great place to start if you want to get a feel of the fellers. Even their last album was great. I'll try to link a track. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Not crap, ever.
