A cursory Google has given me the main runners and riders, but I'm sure the 'OTHER' will get some action too.
I'll be going other with the egregious yarling of Cold's Scooter Ward. Ridiculously, I have a strange fondness for the first Cold album. It's so fucking basic and over the top with the yarls.
Re: Yarl-dome.
2I’m going with Staley, simply because “Would” is a great song that features yarling. Not a fan of AiC otherwise.
Vedder and Weiland were pretty good vocalists when they didn’t yarl. But their yarling usually drives me nuts.

3If I gotta pick a yarler, let it be Staley. Anything is better than Stapp.

4Aside from the slight deviation that I am a fan of AiC, this is almost exactly what I was going to type.Wood Goblin wrote: Wed May 08, 2024 9:16 am I’m going with Staley, simply because “Would” is a great song that features yarling. Not a fan of AiC otherwise.

Not a fan of yarling, but of these, Staley was the least annoying at it.
EDIT: would think Axl Rose could be included in the ballot. I would not have voted for him, though.

5Temple of the Yarl for me.
I feel compelled to refrain from quoting FM kerble's Hunger Strike parody lyrics here, sweet as they are/were. Long may they inhabit my brain.

6Gonna go with Ed the Ved.
Back in the day my crew called this kind of singing "Shamanow Yeah". Say it with a yarl.
Believe it or not there's folks out there who still make this kind of music...

7Lots of yarlers surfaced during the post-grunge and nu-metal eras, but Eddie was the original. Not a fan, but a nice enough guy. Still, Staley was the least irritating.

9I'm glad Cornell isn't on the list - his singing is kind of uniquely great, which really struck me on relistening to that first Audioslave again album recently.
Vedder is top of this list. He has a genuinely great voice, he just used it for evil in the early years.
That Scott Stapp fellow shouldn't be dignified with inclusion.
