So, Queen have decided the Beatles don't get to have all the fun and appear to be embarking on a clean up and remix campaign, starting with the first LP, now controversially given a 1 in the title. Ooer.

I quite enjoyed the Beatles remixes, and have no quibbles with great records being remixed to remedy terrible dated productions or restrictions of the time. Not to replace the originals, but to have as well.

Anyways, was excited when I read this, as that LP has a particularly rough mix. One song released today, and fucks sake, they've gone and fucked it. Chiefly, the drums. I imagine there was a beautiful flat 70s sounding kit buried in the murk, but they appear to have added some nasty gated 80s reverb. Kick sounds crazy digital. I say boo!
