Band: Creedence Clearwater Revival
2Before my time, but I've heard them many a time. It never struck me as crap.

4CCR, as we on the inside call them, kick an amazing amount of ass.
I'm still finding songs by them that blow me away.

But I digress. Please continue with the squirrel circuit semantic debate.

5Fortunate Son still gives me chills and I've heard it about 500 times.

6Even though I could never hear "Down On The Corner" again and be real happy, NOT CRAP.

7Maybe the first band that I really thought of as mine. Loved this shit. Most of their covers and perhaps all their ballads are not so pretty good, but Fogerty defin[i]tely kicked ass back in the days before I was born.

8Love 'em.
1)Old friend wanted to design a "Fogerty" Pedal that made your guitar sound like John Fogerty's voice. When I hear him wail I now think of Ill Tone.
2)Speaking of Ill Tone, he had a guitar made out of a baseball bat.
3)I had a dream once where my old Art Ed prof was John Fogerty for the intents and purposes of the dream. He was playing in a venue that was basically an indoor little league baseball field with bleacher style seating.
Before the show, he was hamming it up with the audience and explaining that the reason he was doing a comeback tour was because he had managed to recapture the soul of the old Creedence material and he'd be damned if he was going to let some suits get in the way of his rock'n'roll.
Also the opening act was two long-hairs on an oriental rug. One had a set of bongos and the other had a "flying-V." In hindsight, it seems that Fogertygot me into T-Rex years before I'd given Electric Warrior a spin.
Not Crap

9Especially not crap when reminded that all of their recorded output was released over only four years' time.

10These guys created truly great music. Their songs are powerful and honest, and I could never tire listening to them.
Not crap.
