I've had the pleasure of seeing both at their "peak", and I'll still listen to either one on occasion.

I'd normally rather listen to The Clash, but Bob 'n Grant were cool enough to put out our first album, and were really decent guys to the local punk scene here so I guess they have to win.

I like them both, but I like Husker Du better.

I can say the same, saw them both at their peak also, but the Clash was at the Aragon, while Husker Du was at O'Banion's, so the experiences aren't really comparable. Husker Du was amazing. Saw them around the time when "Land Speed Record" came out, and many many times after that. Bob and Grant were very cool, used to talk to them at the shows.

I have to go with Husker Du, as they definitely held my interest much longer then the Clash did.
