AC power outlets and chords should have no radiating magnetic field. If wired properly, the hot and neutral wires will have equal and opposite polarity magnetic fields that will cancel each other out. So in theory, things should be safe. Knowing this, I still get the willies when I see some high powered cabling around tapes. Nothing's perfect all the time...

Anything drawing more than 5 amps... Like I said, it should all be fine. The things that are powered by them might have a bigger magnetic field that the cables.eliya wrote:Duh! Of course!
