^ Excellent points on conspiracy theories. I'd also add the conventional wisdom that the more people involved the more likely that incontrovertible evidence will come out. Think of the sheer number of people in the know required for a fake moon landing or a nefarious vaccine roll out.

Also as our own Steve Albini once said (and I scooped up for my signature on the old board): Only someone with a commitment to denial for its own sake would say all of those thousands of people got it wrong but I alone in my basement, I figured it out (paraphrased here).

A French chain, O'Tacos, opened a location in Brooklyn a handful of years ago which didn't last long. I never got around to trying it.
