1I'm thinking about groups I've always hated, and believe the nadir was UB40. Their uber-white reggae renditions of oldies are aural torture.

3Yeah.. usually if someone sticks around long enough they'll do something redeemable or charming (may not always be music related, but something).

4I'll reach for the low hanging fruit. Dave Matthews Band. Why in the absolute fuck do people like this, especially college kids. What in the hell... I remember moving to the USA and hearing it for the first time and thinking how fucking terrible it sounded.

8I don’t want to stand up for UB40, but they were ethnically diverse. It was just a terrible era for reggae in general.

9Eh, there was good stuff, we just didn't hear it often.
