31Terrible news about what Kelly has done to his family and sad that the bar surrounding these situations is so low that I feel a sense of relief when a band whose music I love has an appropriate response.

32Several people have commented already that Kelly's wife and kids could probably use good wishes and support right now. Of course their privacy is important and I would not want to infringe, but if there's any kind of organized effort to help them out, please share that info.

35I feel like it's not just Daughters, and bands, venues and scenes often jump to the abuser's defense in situations like this. Hopefully that's changing.

40It might be simply that it was resolved in private....It doesn't even get a mention on Wikipedia entry for Swans,, Gira or his accuser. It was a little on the #metoo cusp...but you would think it would only get more traction after that ball got rolling.
