A few days ago, I decided to subscribe to Creem. (Long story short: sick of digital everything, sick of listicles, etc.) But save for Lester Bangs’s infamous fight with Lou Reed, I’ve never read anything from the original iteration; it was only a shadow of its former self by the 1980s.
Thoughts?
Re: Magazine: Creem
2I spent some time with a couple of new issues and it seemed like I could spent a great deal more time reading them more thoroughly.
Lots of stuff in there.
I know about the old one but that was before my time and I've never spent much time looking at old issues, I gather it was kinda special back then.
Love to put on a record and get lost in a fun read on the couch. See also: Maggot Brain (the magazine.)

Re: Magazine: Creem
3NC for its history.
NC for now offering a quarterly publication in print.
Thanks for drawing attention to it. I am thinking about subscribing.
