2Not Crap, no waffles. Baby J on Netflix is genuinely funny, as are all of his specials on that platform.

6I hate to say it but he was funniest when he went on to talk shows/SNL totally smashed.
Re: Comedian: John Mulaney
7This is about where I am with him. I don’t mind watching him, because he’s relatable to me, but, yeah, I don’t laugh.
So I guess “Comedian: John Mulaney” = CRAP
“Dude with problems: John Mulaney” = NOT CRAP

Re: Comedian: John Mulaney
8I like him, we saw his most recent touring show and it came across as a bitter, angry screed than stand up comedy set but maybe he worked it out for his new special?
Re: Comedian: John Mulaney
9The mask slipped, his persona evaporated, so now he's trying to be Maron?
Pfft.

Re: Comedian: John Mulaney
10I watched his rehab thing and it was so-so I guess. Not terrible, apart from his Al Pacino impression, which is really terrible.
The last bit I remember seeing of his, he was recounting tales of his youth as a blackout drunk, so it doesn't seem THAT far removed.
