Gee, I wonder what "totally legitimate mental health condition" she will cite to backpedal her behaviour when the chips ultimately don't fall where she thinks they will. "I totally had ADHD! Yeah, that was it. I never really liked the guy! I promise!" These grifters are all the same.

She wants a piece of Candace Owens's pie.
I’m pretty sure people would pay good money to see that.
I didn't mean it that way, but those two pilchards can have each other.
I'd rather be throwing darts.

Y'know, I respect you have have yr allegiance's and all, but I'm pretty sure most places in this world can very much relate to their government's "blatant disregard for human life". If not, they're being willfully or unwilfully ignorant.

It's been a more overtly subtle transition than some might think. But one of the clearest tells that CNN has skewed more and more to the right in recent years occurred when they did a sit-down interview with Candace Owens amid flattering lighting. Similar somewhat to when 60 Minutes gave Marjorie Taylor Greene an interview in good faith. These interviewees are nut jobs, and not in a good way.

Remember that in Trump's first go 'round, the news media as a whole gave him over two billion dollars' worth of free publicity.

Whatever views they claim possess, these platforms are enablers.

Sure. Not gonna discount that. Still, it's a question of nuance and degree. Some more than others, I suppose.

From the beginning DJT was a distinctly 21st century candidate because his free publicity was as car crash footage in the first cycles of his candidacy. The "will you believe this guy" early takes were high interest stories from media outlets who never believed he could win. At some point they had to notice it snowballing but they count success in views so they were hooked.

Even before his candidacy, he was given a lot of ramp-up publicity with all the birther stuff. If you’ll remember, he eventually able to get Obama to go on TV and hold up a birth certificate, which was a bigger victory for Trump than it was an exoneration for Obama.

Bernardo wrote: Wed Jan 28, 2026 11:52 am I guess this goes here: the band Earth just last-minute cancelled a concert in Italy, right before going onstage, because there was a palestine flag on display inside the venue.

Not sure I ever gave any thought on what Dylan Carlson's political views might be, but ugh.
If that's the only reason, boy that's the dummest hill to die on.
As far as it's been reported it's the exact reason. The band asked that the flag was removed, the venue refused and the concert got cancelled over it at the spot.
