I kind of hated riff looping after hearing this, never could get into those bands. Not that it’s a race, but won already. I am more like to put on a Gavin Bryars record, though not sure it’s fair to compare. Basinski gives that whole scene a breath of fresh air though, I’ll stop whatever I’m doing to listen to an interview or project or whatever I might come across.

This is one of those pieces I’m not sure is made for vinyl though?
