How DARE they have fun!
I tend to prefer my rock heavier and angrier, but I can't give them a crap vote. Fun pop-rock songs (and I rarely have anything positive to say about pop) that are catchy and inoffensive without being completely empty.
NOT CRAP with a high WF for not being my thing.

I heard that Hero song last night when I was paying for my haircut at Great Clips. I found myself playing drums on the counter thinking, "this was a pretty cool song".
Not crap.

9 because I will never own one of their records.

The Colour and the Shape is a really good record.
Other than that, there are songs here and there that are okay, but nothing spectacular.
Overall, NOT CRAP.

I bought the first Foo Fighters album when it came out. I was 13 and I liked it a lot. Eventually I lost interest and sold the album.
But last summer on tour, our drummer bought a used copy, and I started to really like this album. Grohl's drumming is of course excellent, but there actually quite a few songs with decent riffs and melodies. There are few songs that sound like hybrids of Seattle grunge and early ninties DC punk.
So, for this record, which I now am quite fond of, I give a NOT CRAP, but the rest of the catalog remains a giant waffle factor. And Grohl is a total irritating ham.

Crap. I'd rather listen to Ringo's All-Starr Band.

More dumb rock music with no attempt at doing anything even remotely interesting. CRAP.

You must be a Puritan.
