i really like 'wonderwall' and 'live forever.' 'champagne supernova' is pretty good, even it has even worse lyrics than the other singles.

but if i'm going to give r.e.m. a 'crap,' i have to give oasis a pretty firm crap

most of the 'album tracks' i have heard are dreadful

they just managed to cobble a couple together at one point

I'd like to buy them for what they're worth and sell them for what they think they're worth.

i saw them once...
it was terribly boring,
and the singer kept leaving the stage, making his brother sing..
that must be embarassing.

I love that they sing these meaningless lyrics that take on some illusion of profundity only because they rhyme. I don't hold it against 'em. I'm glad they're not expressing their thoughts more cogently.

They're big, dumb and loud. I like them. I could not bear to just hear clever music all the time, and I've got a lot of good memories of listening to them with friends. Noel Gallagher can be extremely witty, though his brother is tiresome. I even like "Be Here Now" in small doses. NOT CRAP.

Someone gave me a copy of their second album a while ago. I think the big singles from that album are catchy, and I like them. I don't know that I've heard anything else by this band, but I really don't have the vitriol for them that most people here seem to have. Their music is big, dumb, catchy, mediocre guitar rock, and there are certainly worse bands out there. They're probably crap, but I just can't bring myself to hate them.

i personally dont think they have made a bad record.
album or singles.

it must be an english thing but over here people think its cool these days to slag them off.

they sell out shows in minutes and they rock.
i love them they are my favourites.
