I Don’t know… My wife really got into them, and I have seen them live. But something about it really seemed, sort of … I dunno. Not essential. Since I posted on this topic in March, I have really come to feel a great amount of disdain for the Decemberists. Yes, the songwriting is good, but they are utterly uncompelling and leave me cold. I just can't get into their whole pirate escapade deal. And they do not rock, ever. Why were there so many people at Intonation eager to see them? A very odd choice for the headlining band.

I haven't voted. I don't know enough about this band to give my opinion.

this board gets dumber every day.

It seems like every has explained their opinions quite well on this c/nc. Just because you don't agree doesn't mean they are idiots. Last time I looked the forum was for expressing opinions.

all the people that say "i just dont care for that kind of music" are at least being honest and fair.

all the people that say "they suck" or "god, they fucking suck" or "all my friends that are cooler than me say they suck so i think they suck too" need to just die already and start collecting stamps and leave music alone.
