After making several bleeping and sqwonking noises, the computer told me that it was indeed a very amusing poll. It then displayed the results, which stated very clearly that the winning band was The Beatles, with The Misfits a close 4th behind.

I can email the data printout to any interested parties.

Who came in second and third?
Police Teeth: we like Void so much, we decided not to sound like them.

When I attempt to think of the Beatles, my mind becomes a desert upon which you cannot detect the passage of a thought. When I think of the Misfits I am immediately reminded of a hell-raising youth spent in the company of insane pseudo-philosophers who thought the Misfits were great. We had the song, "Last Caress" on repeat for an entire evening one time. I thought it was hilarious, it was my first introduction to the Misfits and shenanigans ensued.

Misfits win, hands down.

Static Age is one of the best records ever...i almost started to say you shouldn't avoid ANY Misfits, but then i saw you say "released in 98" and suddenly remembered the Fake Misfits...of course ALL of the stuff by the original Misfits back when Danzig was in the band is good (Static Age being one of the best albums ever...) then they broke up in the early 80s and in the 90s Jerry Only threw together a terrible band that happened to have the name "Misfits"...the new Misfits don't count, so of course it goes without saying to avoid all of that stuff...all of the REAL Misfits stuff is good, though there's not much of it anyway...

Every single one of my friends has some sort of Misfits paraphernalia - be it shirts, stickers, patches, buttons, belt buckles, car stickers, my lord..so many people are obsessed with this band. It gets disgusting and old after a while. I can't take it much longer

is this some sort of satire? back before most of us were born The Beatles had their pictures printed on every milk carton, diaper, and tennis racket in the world...you can't read one of those gay "Best Of Ever" lists in popular music magazines without seeing around 10 awful "journalists" jacking off all over the name of The Beatles...

I think the very same is true for both bands.
