255I watched the first ep some year ago. There was a part where the children were throwing stones or something and the voice track faded out and there was only music, things like that I think are kinda lame. 256I understand your aversion to that completely. Have you read the books? There is a reason why they might do that with Lila specifically, but I'm sure the concept is very difficult to put to film. 258I know there aren't many Tom Waits fans on this board, but this weekend I was shocked to see his 1987 concert movie Big Time on Netflix. It's still wildly uneven, but I still enjoyed about a third of it.
