I have mostly stopped drinking, but (especially during COVID) I really find myself missing just having a beer or two with friends at a bar. Just general bar ambiance I miss.

The only time in my life I ever came close to trading punches with a woman was in Milwaukee about 25 years ago. I'm legit afraid of dying by things like slipping and hitting my head, or being hit by a falling roof tile and such, just because it would be so stupid.

I slipped on an ice-covered wooden bridge while jogging through a park a few years ago. Landed flat on my back. My head hit the ground, but I had a stocking cap on, which cushioned the blow. I just got up and continued running.

This is a bad move. You gotta buy gloves or live with cold fingers. It isn't how I broke off all my front teeth, but it's how most people who break off all their front teeth do it. my 20 year old college soccer player son went for a training run on Monday night. Slipped and fell on ice and broke his ankle. (yes he is an idiot) Luckily we saw the orthopedic doc the next day, and he is having surgery today. He was supposed to return to college this weekend. He may miss the first week or so of school and of course the whole soccer thing is all fucked up. Luckily soccer is fall sport.

Oh, and i nearly curbed myself walking upstairs in a parking garage with my hands in my pockets, so my rule now is "never have both hands in pockets when going up stairs."

That's unlucky. Ankle injuries are particularly difficult where football is concerned.

I got an Atmos Jump and I feel like it kinda sucks, but maybe I'm doing it wrong? Ground up the weed nice and fine, packed it fairly full but not super tight. And as far as slipping on steps, people please hold the damn railing! The other day, wearing socks, I slipped and almost fell down the stairs in the house. Since then I go down the stairs like I'm 100: very fucking slowly.

Following. As much as I love smoke I think I waste a lot of weed. I'm not what one would consider a heavy pot user, but I do enjoy it and would like to get the most out of it.

The surgery went well. And we now have a bottle of percocet in the house. And my youngest just found out he got accepted to Rutgers. First of his colleges we have heard from. First of many acceptances, I am sure. Still, its very nice for him. High School has sucked so hard, its nice to see that there is an end in sight.
