I don't smoke pot much anymore. If someone has it around I may partake.
I enjoy beer. Booze not so much, but for the occasional Sapphire Dirty Martini (extra blue-cheese olives). Booze doesn't like me. I'm very sensitive to alcohol, dehydrate easily, have a mild allergy to tannins and sulfites, etc...
So my choice would be weed. So easy on me. No hangovers or headaches. I'd still use it regularly if it didn't kill my motivation for just about everything except sex.

I'd get rid of both and enjoy a better world.
Edit: Snarkier than I meant it to be. I don't mind that any of you partake, but from my perspective, the world would be better overall without either around.

tough call.
pot makes augustus pablo reverberate in my skull and makes sleeping awesome.
however booze makes me put effort into talking to women and helps me get onstage for shows.
pot is good when your involved with a lady or with job. otherwise it makes a bad situation worse.
booze is the polar opposite.
music choices of partakers doesn't make the choice easier,either:
pot beget: phish (bad) and public image limited (good)
(and inspiried iggy pop to start the stooges)
booze beget: motley crue (bad) and ac/dc (good)
(and inspired iggy pop to cover himself in peanut butter and bleed profusely)
slight advantage to pot, because it's never made me have to awkwardly apologize for peeing in a potted plant, etc.
edit: wow, what's with the dead heat? i read the board this morning and it was 24 to 24.

alcohol.
i only smoke or drink socially. pot, sometimes, turns me into a 'paranoid blob', while alcohol, most of the times, turns me into an almost normal social and funny person, rarely, into a bit of a douchebag.
