I have to admit I have not heard any of these tracks...I've heard everything up to Children of God. With Sonic Youth, I've heard everything up to Daydream Nation. So my knowledge of both bands isn't complete.

Man, I am very, very familiar with both bands' entire catalogs (my dear friend and bandmate, "robert thefamilyghost" on this board, is an avowed SY devotee), and you probably stopped at the right place in both instances. There's some great stuff after Children of God and Daydream Nation, but none of it is up to the standard both bands set for themselves up to those points in their respective catalogs. I hope my little opinion makes sense here.

Swans!

Cop is far worse than anything SY ever made.

Soundtracks for the Blind is far better than anything SY ever made.

Sonic Youth is much more consistent than Swans.
