Sweet Jesus, I hate this band. They're the only band I can think of that truly infuriates me. Now, I discriminate when it comes to music as much as the next guy, but I don't hate many bands. Really, I only hate one, and that is the Decemberists. I'm trying to decide why they're more offensive to me than other creative entities with similar qualities. I kinda like Wes Anderson, and I don't hate TMBG even though I don't especially like them either. Even though a list of their traits would overlap a lot, the Decemberists just seem that much worse.
