Good question....? Has there been any census done on stuff like this?

Certainly there is more mumblecore rap made in parents bedroom, Roblox fan fiction and memes of crudely drawn troll faces, but I can't imagine there are more actual kids making anything of "substance" than before, when there is no incentive to make anything that is longer than 15 seconds, and they are already so bloody distracted with feeding elves ice cream.

This is all so Old Man Yells at Cloud. There's near endless amounts of substance, granted amongst a shitheap of noise and nonsense, but to think there isn't is at best disingenuous; at worst lazy.

I'm trying to bring back proper old man-core. There is too many old people listening to Taylor Swift and whatever, dressing like teenagers. But seriously, bands? Like an actual group of kids who are hashing out songs and practicing in a basement....there is more of that NOW? Maybe you're right, but I'm just seeing the shitheap.

Just by weight of numbers, I imagine so, but to be fair I'm not interested in whether they're kids hashing out songs in basements or not.
