There was a surf rock band called the Carvells who had a single called "The LA Run". This song was covered in Swedish by the band Magnum Bonum. That cover was then reimagined as this europop version. This was the song I initially knew since I watched that group perform at an LAN party in the early 00s (gamers like goofy ass music).

Laundry at 1AM and trying to keep myself awake.
