The inset bridge detail photo definitely suggests that!

I think if they had handed Kurt Kobain a Coronado for his Jag-Stang, he would have said it's a little wide, but it'll do. Supposedly his favorite guitars when nobody was looking were lawsuit Les Paul copies and Ibanez Artists, but at the time, these had a real guitar hero connotation. Moreso, maybe, than the obvious (to me) Jackson Dinky and Ibanez RG. I guess the superstrat with a Floyd Rose was ascendant but not quite yet de rigeur when he was still forming opinions.
Well, those things also weigh a ton compared to a Mustang or Hi-Flyer. Didn't he have a messed up back or something? Even though I play a Les Paul, they still have a bit of that macho/expensive stink to them.biscuitdough wrote: Sat Nov 27, 2021 9:36 pm I think if they had handed Kurt Kobain a Coronado for his Jag-Stang, he would have said it's a little wide, but it'll do. hideous but at least its ugliness is almost entirely due to its whole raison d'etre which sorta gives it a pass in my book.
Wouldn’t that actually be kind of awesome tho
