With Manchin, you at least knew that there wasn’t another, better Democrat who could win that state. Fetterman will get killed in his next primary, and every other option will be better.

The financial windfall the Supreme Leader and his government are about to make off the Strait of Hormuz is wild. That guy knows the best way to "lose" a war. This whole thing might see matching critiques from Al Jazeer, Economist, National Review and Jacobin. It takes real panache to royally fuck something bad enough for that kind of consensus.

Yeah. Not only did the war consolidate the Iranian dictatorship, it also now looks like there’ll be a toll on the waterway that never used to exist.
