Dave Grohl is just a sexy singer. Can't say too much for the music - other than when I hear them... They make me want to go for a jog in the park. Just fun to listen to/tends to be on the boring side... Take it as you will.

Rye Coalition = fun fun fun music - LOVE them... Absolute enegry. And bring back that dirty-hot rock n roll quality that every band wishes they could have.

Generic alt rock. Had Dave Grohl not been in Nirvana, the Foo Fighters would not be where they are today.

This band doesn't do very much for me. meh.

But this one song...the only song...this Everlong.

Why is this song so great? Why does it work so well?

This, i cannot explain. I just heard it on the T.V.
Great pop song, no waffles, 'cept it was written by a reeeeeel boring band.

Why is "Everlong" so great? Because it's a great song, that's why. Songwriting will always triumph over the fashions of the day. Dave Grohl's songwriting is really quite good, despite the commercial crappiness of the production and dated grunge aesthetics.

Gonna have to go with not crap for that. Very high

Foo Fighters have never been awful, but they've never really been great. That being said, they have a handful of really awesome songs that most bands will never com close to touching: "Everlong" "Enough Space" "Learn To Fly" "Aurora" plus a b-side called "How I Miss You" that completely slays......still in most instances they are one of the more in-offensive generic rock bands.
