Thanks! Geez, that Fender Rumble 100 bass combo only weighs 22 lbs! Do you think it sounds any good? I watched a video but it's just hard to believe it would be loud or beefy enough. But, I'm admittedly relatively new to bass amps. I was avoiding combos because of the weight/bulkiness factor. Hard to carry up stairs and such. But 22 lbs is sweet.

Why, specifically, if you don't mind, won't I like the rumble? Not loud enough for a rock band?I will take your advice regarding talkbass. I assume the info there is sketchy?

Go play it though should be easy to find. The 400rb will do you just fine for your whole life, even if you ever buy something better it'll be the best backup friend you could ask for. Man, I am having trouble finding a GK 400 rb head or combo anywhere! They seem to be sold out everywhere I look.I'm open to anything though. I would prefer a head and separate cab set up just for ease of transport. Gallien Kruger sounds nicer than I thought it would. Just a good, honest bass sound. That's all I want. Don't want a hundred knobs.

Would this (at 200 watts) be loud enough for a rock band practice?
