ah, yes, I remember them playing my home town (cheyenne wyoming) maybe four or five years ago in this dude's garage. they were super young. they were also super weird. I like.

is their name pronounced "ZIB-zers"?

I'm only familiar with that first full-length. Had the chance to see them live, but I skipped out early as there was ex-girlfriend drama at the venue. Lame.

FYI- Weasel Walter is currently playing drums for Xbxrx. Paul Costuros of the band Total Shutdown is also in the band.

My old band mate, Ed Rodriguez is / was(?) playing bass in this band, too.

How many original members are left?

i remember playing a show with them. they all had mask on and they had cheerleaders run out before they jumped on stage and made a big ol rukus. they threw confettie everywhere...there was another band that played that night that threw oatmeal everywhere as well. it was a big ol mess.
i honestly really didnt care for them all that much though.
the old drummer now plays in a band with "jimmyjames" called "nuees ardentes" and is goddamn incredible!

I think there are two (2) original members still in the band. Two brothers. I knew Weasel Walter is playing with them now but i didn't know that a fellow from the Total Shutdown was. Interesting. They have another LP coming out next year and from what i have read - it is suposed to be quite good.

The brothers in Xbxrx are Steve and Chris Touchton. Xbxrx was formed when they lived in Oklahoma but they both live in San Francisco now.

Steve is also Da Hawnay Troof.

i like these guys, i thought they broke up.

total shutdown is also great. they played at a house in denver with nels cline and friends forever, needless to say it was one of the best shows i saw that year.
