I'm just kind of wondering if this one will get a NOT CRAP vote from anyone on here.

Tiresome, self-aggrandizing CRAP.

So my ex-girlfriend's half-sister was a huge Live groupie. She used to follow them around and "do things" for them. Broke up her marriage, in part.

oh yeah, crap crap crap crap crap crap crap.

There is something funny about this terrible band called Live.

Our bass player man worked as a mosquito killer one summer. You know, chemicals on the standing summer water and shit.

The mosquito-killing chemical weapon of choice was copper sulfate.

So our bass player man suggested that we call our first record "Throwing Copper Sulfate".

This thing is funny to me.

By the way, "Live" is about as shitty as a band name gets. It's worse than "Therapy?", although not by much.

For now, I am warming up my beer can-throwing arm in the anticipation of a band calling itself "Read". I've never even thought about throwing anything at a band. In fact, the idea of throwing something at a band makes me very unhappy.

But I know it will happen. There will be a band that will call itself "Read".

And I will have to throw something at them -- no matter how much it bothers me to do so.

so live was playing some shows w/this other band i know

and a guy in t.o.b.i.k. was at this strip club after the show, and the live guys were there as well, at least some of 'em

and the singer guy, ed, he was getting down w/the strippers

some guy in the entourage sez to one of the strippers, 'you know, ed is a buddhist'

the stripper looks over at ed, getting it on w/the other strippers, and she says 'looks to me like he's a _bootyist_'

crap

I really want to vote CRAP for that stripper's comment.

Live have a song called 'Shit Towne'.

Dude, 'Shit Towne'.

Throwing Copper also happens to have one of the ugliest album covers in the history of rock

Along with Dave Matthews and his band, one of the most resounding CRAP votes I could ever give

This is a great coincidence, because I asked revrantMeat this same question last night without seeing this post. Live is not crap. Throwing Copper is a very good album. The first one is not crap either. In fact, The Distance To Here has good songs too. Perhaps my affection for this band is just a relic of my elementary school years, but I can honestly say that I think they are good. Not crap.

To top it off, didn't live have a slap bass player? Man, Live makes Infectious Grooves look good.
