I've only been watching a few years, but the last couple of stages were nuts. They had to cancel a stage about 2/3 way thru because it sleet / snowed during the race and the plows couldn't clear the roads. It also created a mudslide. I would have never considered watching cycling 10 years ago, but now I'm way into it.
