Darren Aronofsky's Mother. Was gonna post the trailer but it doesn't do justice IMO.
Seems to divide audiences this one. Personally I loved it.

It's awesome. I had friends who saw it first and were viscerally angry at the film. When I asked why they were like, "Just watch it dude. You'll see. It's fucking bullshit."
This might have been the best way for me to watch it.

It was ok. Like a Guillermo Del Toro film. Needed more subtlety.

Not Crap. One of two movies where I had to pause it, take a step back, and breathe. Wish I saw it in the theater where I'd have zero control.

This movie has lots of crap worthy stuff in it but it is not crap. Even though the underlying ideas are half baked, he's the master of ratcheting up tension to a big climax and I think this movie is his best effort doing that whole thing. I think it's worth watching for that.

Saw this film in the theater and loved it.
I really wanted to go back and watch it with my eyes closed because the sound design is extraordinary, but it came and went too fast.

It's on Netflix. Pair of headphones could help with that experience maybe.
