No mango, post is invalid.

A ripe mango is what all fruit aspires to.

Peaches, when tree ripened and purchased from a roadside stand, close second.

Everything else is an undergraduate poetry reading, by comparison.

If you want to make a limited to 10 option fruit salad, you gotta break a few mangoes. Plus I’ve never had a truly satisfying one, despite knowing their potential. Sheep in wolf’s clothing of the fruit world as far as I’m concerned.

You live in a city surrounded by Latin fruit markets and somehow have never had a perfect mango. This makes no sense!

Get thee to the Rogers Park Fruit Market in about seven weeks, buy a case of the green and red Mexican mangoes. Please report back.
