I'd think Megadeth-My Last Words has to be on the best closing track ballot, but Raining Blood is probably going to dominate. As mentioned above, AoD and RB are some pretty ferocious bookends to contend with.

My vote goes to 'Disposable Heroes'.

Yeah, Disposable Heroes all the way. Big soft spot for Troops of Doom mind.

Ktulu for instrumental. Album closer is a tough one, shall have to think on that.

WAR: It's gotta be Disposable Heroes. What a song. There's about 20 riffs in it, all of them killer. For as much as we give Lars shit (all deserved), he gets props for the 4 cymbal choke fill in the second verse, that shit rules.

CLOSER: My Last Words. Super catchy verses and then it goes into one of the best helicopter riffs of all time.

INSTRUMENTAL: Much as I love Ktulu and Orion, I'm giving this one to the kids, Death Angel win for The Ultra Violence. More good riffs on that than most bands whole careers.

War: Mandatory Suicide

Instrumental: Rhapsody in Black or March of the SOD. While credited as separate songs, they both serve as intros though.

Closer: Tough one. I'm torn between Damage, Inc and Raining Blood.

Closer: Dyers Eve

Instrumental: Ktulu

War: not sure I pay that much attention to lyrics, Take no Prisoners, maybe? It's tight and to the point, musically.
