Which particular iteration of this essential staple of 1980s in-dash cassette player tape cases suits your fancy more?

An early bill I played on as a musician was opening for John Cougar Concentration Camp.

I stubbornly call him John Cougar.

When Uh Huh came out, I thought the album was called Mellencamp Uh-Huh. I was slow to get the memo about the name change.

Not really fair for me to judge what name preference I have of him while having the advantage of hindsight, but apparently it wasn't his idea or his preference to be John Cougar in the first place. For that reason, I voted "John Mellencamp".
