If you are playing on a giant stage and have some sort of stage design/set, I dont give a shit. Showbiz is showbiz. You aren't fooling anyone and I dont think the bands that use them are trying to fool anyone, its a prop at a show, a larger than life theatrical show.

There should be FAKESUNNO))) that play with little pig nose amps, and a giant fake stage set up. "The little sound is the point...mannnnnn."

A prop is a prop is a prop.

Just like some jerk paying $2000 for a prop walkie talkie used in some movie or tv show. Like it or not those giant arena shows need to fill up space and some use fake gear, certainly more cost effective if you are in Aerosmith then buying and wasting real gear to just sit there. Lighter to haul around easy to set up since it is just a prop and not plugged in. I'm not into it, but I get it.

Wow...I would never have imagined there would be another reason to find post-rehab Aerosmith detestable, but there you go.

The amps include AC power and light up when the power is turned on. Now THAT'S Rock 'n'Roll!!!
Tom’s bass tech personally inspected the head and confirmed it was in excellent working condition with no notable issues.
Let me tell you. If you tech for a pro musician, and he walks off-stage and realizes the pilot light on his fake amp has been out for the whole show, I’ve got two words for you: “shit canned”. You might be able to get away with that kind of stuff when you’re playing punk clubs, but that shit ain’t gonna fly in the bigs.
