Has anybody here recorded an album on a day or two at Electrical? or does anybody know of an album recorded in 1-2 days at EA? I understand the implications of having such a small timeframe for recording, and I wanted to hear what to expect.Examples of a full rock band are better. Thanks!

Is there any reason there are no API preamps at EA? There are other "colored" pres but no APIs.

Some electrical engineer at another forum said that they are basically exciters ... could that be the reason?

Is there any advantage to using a RE20 instead of a SM7b for miking the kick drum? I'm just curious because I've read about Electrical sometimes miking the kick with a RE20. Higher SPL handling?
