m Good old sound on sound. Its a budget dynamic mic. Apparently quite flexible. The dude probably thinks its a condenser because it needs phantom power. This means it has a comparitively high sensitivity of 3.5mv and other advantages to do with consistency of sound which i dont personally understand.

The kings of this area are brands: AKG, Rode, Audio Technica and MXL. If we're talking bargain basement the cheapest Rode is nearly twice the price of the cheapest one from the other brands so we can discount tht.
