using the regular Morley A B Y box will cut your volume and your gain. I've used the Whirlwind Selector before during recording and it sounded great. It's active, so it doesn't degrade your signal.

If you really want to spend some cash, the TONEBONE ab box has some really cool features.

I recently picked up one of these heads along with 2 Traynor YSC-2 Column speaker cabinets (4 12's in each.) $100 for the whole package. Though it's supposed to be a PA head, i've heard good things about them being used for guitar. I noticed that Electrical Audio has one in their collection of equip...

i gotta know... what was used to make that ... that SOUND in "bridges"? The guitar part under the "you'll tear your house down..." part. It's completely devastating. Initially i thought it was a multitude of amps, but a friend said it might be a MXR blues box. Any help?
