is there a particular overall "feel" you get from watching japanese film? what exactly is it, other than the fact that it is foreign, that is appealing to you? just really curious. And Linklater has pretty much sucked ever since Dazed and Confused but I'm holding out some hopes for Scanner Darkly as the animation promises to be pretty cool.

I saw Edan on tour w/ Insight last Spring and it was the best show I saw all year. Incredibly entertaining with crazy energy. I'm not so into the concept of live hip-hop w/ canned beats, but these two mcs gave really amazing performances. So refreshing.
